[OSENWORLD] ATEEZ have cemented their dominance in Japan, sweeping the Oricon charts with their second full-length Japanese album Ashes to Light.
According to Oricon on September 24, the album topped the Weekly Combined Albums Chart for the week of September 15–21. This comes on the heels of its debut at No. 1 on the Weekly Albums Chart, giving ATEEZ a rare double win.
First-week sales surpassed 116,000 copies, marking the highest opening for any of the group’s Japanese albums to date. The feat underscores the immense anticipation for their first full-length Japanese release in four and a half years.

The album carries the theme of “new hope rising from hardship,” embodied by its lead track Ash. With its dynamic beats and textured soundscape, the song showcases the group’s evolving vocals and powerful rap, leaving a lasting impression.
Ashes to Light also made waves globally, ranking No. 5 on the Worldwide iTunes Albums Chart and earning them a spot on Spotify’s Daily Top Artist Chart. The title track entered iTunes Top Songs Charts in 11 countries and Line Music’s Album Top 100. The accompanying music video broke into YouTube’s worldwide trending charts, topping both the Global Video and Music Video Trending rankings.
Alongside the album release, ATEEZ have been meeting fans across Japan through their IN YOUR FANTASY tour. They performed September 13–15 in Saitama and September 20–21 in Nagoya, and are set to hold two sold-out shows in Kobe on October 22–23. Tickets for Kobe sold out immediately, prompting organizers to release additional standing-room and restricted-view tickets to meet overwhelming demand.
