[OSENWORLD] BLACKPINK have once again proven their dominance on the global stage, breaking their own Billboard record with their latest hit JUMP.
According to YG Entertainment on Sept. 29, JUMP ranked No. 95 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the chart dated Sept. 27. Released on July 11, the track has now stayed on the chart for 10 consecutive weeks — marking their longest Hot 100 run to date.
JUMP originally debuted at No. 28, becoming BLACKPINK’s 10th entry on the Hot 100 and setting the record for the most charting songs by a K-pop girl group. The track has now surpassed the eight-week streak of Ice Cream, establishing a new personal best.
Forbes praised the achievement, stating, “BLACKPINK are already one of the most successful K-pop acts in American history, and each release makes history and pushes boundaries.” Beyond the Hot 100, JUMP has also held its ground for 10 straight weeks on both the Billboard Global 200 and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts.
Their success is not limited to the U.S. In the UK, JUMP debuted at No. 18 on the UK’s Official Singles Chart — BLACKPINK’s highest position to date — and has remained for nine consecutive weeks. On Spotify’s Global Weekly Chart, the track has charted for 11 weeks, further solidifying its international impact.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK are in the midst of their massive BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR ‘DEADLINE’. After becoming the first K-pop girl group to headline Goyang Stadium in July, they have performed 33 shows across 16 cities in North America and Europe. The tour now heads to Asia, with upcoming stops in Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong beginning in October.
