[OSENWORLD] NMIXX are turning up the intrigue with a haunting new concept for their upcoming first full-length album Blue Valentine.
The JYP girl group will release Blue Valentine, their first studio album, and its title track on Oct. 13 at 6 p.m. KST. Following a string of concept images shared on Sept. 27 and 28, a fresh teaser photo was unveiled at 12 a.m. KST on Sept. 29, heightening curiosity around the release.
In the new images, members Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, BAE, Jiwoo, and Kyujin lock eyes with unflinching charisma, leaning against one another in intimate poses. Scattered red apples pierced with shards of glass are firmly held in hand, while a blue apple etched with the words ‘To you, whom I love the most but hate’ teases a cryptic message about conflicted emotions.
The album features 12 tracks, including the title song Blue Valentine; ‘PODIUM’ penned by Haewon; ‘Crush On You’ co-written by Lily; ‘Reality Hurts’; and long-awaited fan favorites ‘O.O Part 1 (Baila)’ and ‘O.O Part 2 (Superhero)’. Other tracks include ‘SPINNIN’ ON IT,’ ‘Phoenix,’ ‘RICO,’ ‘Game Face,’ ‘ADORE U,’ and ‘Shape of Love.’
Positioning themselves as an ‘all-ace group,’ NMIXX are set to showcase the full range of their artistry with their first studio album. Blue Valentine will be released on Oct. 13 at 6 p.m. KST, followed by the group’s first standalone concerts on Nov. 29 and 30, marking a significant new chapter in their career.
