[OSENWORLD] ILLIT are proving their staying power in Japan with yet another certification milestone. The rookie group has now added a new Gold streaming certification to their list of achievements, following their record-setting Double Platinum earlier this year.
According to Belift Lab, under HYBE, on September 30, ILLIT’s Lucky Girl Syndrome, a B-side from their debut mini album SUPER REAL ME, surpassed 50 million cumulative streams in August and was awarded Gold certification by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ).
The RIAJ issues monthly streaming certifications: Gold (50 million streams), Platinum (100 million), and Diamond (500 million).
Released in March 2024, Lucky Girl Syndrome is a playful dance-pop track defined by its whistling hook and uplifting lyrics about finding luck in everyday life — a song that captured the group’s youthful positivity. The track gained further attention when ILLIT promoted it alongside debut single Magnetic, boosting their early momentum.
This marks ILLIT’s third RIAJ streaming certification. Their breakout hit Magnetic earned Double Platinum for surpassing 200 million streams in just 10 months — the fastest record ever for a song by a girl group in Japan. Earlier this year, their first Japanese original single Almond Chocolate also received Gold, reaching 50 million streams in just five months — the quickest pace for any overseas artist in 2025.
Beyond streaming success, ILLIT’s artistry is also gaining international recognition. The music video for little monster, from their third mini album bomb (밤) released in June, has been named a finalist in the Production Design category at the 2025 CICLOPE Awards in Germany. Founded in 2010, the CICLOPE Awards are a prestigious international festival honoring excellence in advertising and film craft. Winners will be announced on November 9.
Directed by creative director Toshihiko Tanabe and film director Show Yanagisawa, the little monster video reimagines the “magical girl” concept through inventive visuals and atmosphere, earning acclaim for its originality and storytelling.

所属事務所 HYBE 傘下の Belift Lab は、9月30日に「ILLIT のデビュー・ミニアルバム『SUPER REAL ME』収録曲『Lucky Girl Syndrome』が8月時点で累計再生数5,000万回を突破し、日本レコード協会（RIAJ）のストリーミング部門で『ゴールド』認定を受けた」と発表した。
RIAJ のストリーミング認定は、累計再生数に応じて毎月発表される。基準はゴールド（累計5,000万回以上）、プラチナ（累計1億回以上）、ダイヤモンド（累計5億回以上）。
2024年3月にリリースされた『Lucky Girl Syndrome』は、軽快なホイッスル・サウンドと「日常の小さな出来事も幸運に変える」という前向きな歌詞が特徴のダンス・ポップ曲。デビュー当時、タイトル曲『Magnetic』と共に活動し、グループの勢いを牽引した。
今回の認定で、ILLIT の RIAJ ストリーミング認定は通算3作目となる。代表曲『Magnetic』はリリースから約10か月で再生数2億回を突破し、女性グループ楽曲として史上最速で「ダブル・プラチナム」を獲得。さらに、今年2月に公開された日本オリジナル楽曲『Almond Chocolate』も、わずか5か月で5,000万回を突破し「ゴールド」認定を獲得。2025年上半期にリリースされた海外アーティスト楽曲の中で最速の記録となった。
さらに、ILLIT の芸術性は国際的にも評価を受けている。6月に発売された3rd ミニアルバム『bomb（バム／韓国語で「夜」）』に収録された『little monster』のミュージックビデオが、ドイツで開催される「2025 CICLOPE Awards」のミュージックビデオ部門・プロダクションデザイン部門で最終候補に選出された。2010年に創設された CICLOPE Awards は、広告・映像制作分野における世界的に権威ある国際フェスティバルとされており、受賞作品は11月9日（現地時間）に発表される予定だ。
クリエイティブディレクターの田辺俊彦とフィルムディレクターの柳沢翔が手掛けた『little monster』は、「魔法少女」コンセプトを独自に再解釈し、斬新な映像演出と独特な世界観で高い評価を得ている。
