[OSENWORLD] CORTIS are proving they’re not just another rookie group — they’re the rookie group of 2025.
According to Billboard’s latest chart (dated Oct. 4), the group’s debut album COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES ranked No. 128 on the Billboard 200, marking its second consecutive week on the chart. CORTIS became the first rookie act of the year to enter the chart, and now the first to hold steady for two weeks. The album also landed at No. 2 on the World Albums chart, No. 9 on Top Current Album Sales, and No. 10 on Top Album Sales.
Their impact wasn’t limited to albums. Intro track “GO!” climbed five spots on the Billboard Global 200 (No. 175) and seven spots on the Global Excl. U.S. chart (No. 129), showing remarkable momentum even after official promotions had ended. CORTIS also secured a place at No. 70 on the Artist 100, fueled by both album and digital success.
Spotify numbers underline their U.S. breakthrough. As of Sept. 29, the group’s monthly listeners (past 28 days) totaled 6.42 million, with more than 1.12 million — or 17.4% — based in the United States, making the U.S. their strongest market.
On top of that, CORTIS pulled off a rare multi-hit streak on Billboard’s Daily Viral Songs Global chart. Title track “What You Want,” intro track “GO!,” and follow-up single “FaSHioN” all topped the chart on different weeks, dominating the No. 1 spot for a combined 21 days.
For a group that only debuted in March, CORTIS are making their case loud and clear — cementing their place as this year’s top rookie act.
