[OSENWORLD] Rising boy group IDID are turning heads with a striking new photoshoot for W KOREA, showcasing high-end model energy that belies their rookie status.
Born from Starship Entertainment’s massive trainee project Debut’s Plan, IDID unveiled their first fashion spread and interview in the magazine’s October issue. The members shed their refreshing rookie vibe to embrace a sharper, cooler charisma, transforming from sporty streetwear to leather jackets to luxury looks. Their familiar yet fresh visuals gained an unexpected twist through bold styling choices, creating a striking sense of contrast. With piercing gazes and a confident presence, the group exuded the energy of a fully-formed idol group made up of all-rounder members.
The accompanying interview allowed each member to introduce themselves, talk about their strengths, team roles, debut journey, shared memories, personal interests, stress-relief habits, and dreams. From playful chatter reflecting their average age of 18 to ambitious goals like topping charts, winning rookie awards, and claiming music show trophies, the conversation revealed both their freshness and their drive.

IDID have already proven their momentum as “mega rookies.” Their debut album I did it. sold 441,524 copies, topping Circle Chart’s Weekly Album Chart in its 38th week. Title track Brilliantly My Way ranked No. 10 on the Weekly Download Chart. Just 12 days after debut, the group claimed their first music show win on KBS2’s Music Bank on Sept. 26.
With this mix of powerful music achievements and now a high-profile fashion spread, IDID are carving out their identity as a complete package — an all-rounder group with both star power and artistry. The group continues to film new content and pursue a packed schedule that keeps their fast-growing global fandom engaged.
