[OSENWORLD] Soobin of WJSN is showcasing her deepened charm through a new feature in Rolling Stone Korea, where she also opened up about her ongoing journey as a musical actress.
In the October issue, Soobin transformed into a vision of elegance and versatility, wearing a sky-blue layered look that radiated warmth and romance, as well as a chic plaid dress paired with long boots for a distinctly autumnal feel. Her expressive gaze and natural poses delivered both classic and contemporary moods, once again proving her reputation as one of K-pop’s true “photoshoot masters.” The shoot sparked an outpouring of praise from global fans.
The accompanying interview shifted focus to Soobin’s current role in the musical Burn the Witch, which runs until October 12. She plays “Love,” a top star admired by the public yet also subject to harsh criticism. “I look forward to every performance,” Soobin shared. “Even though preparing for the stage can be difficult, every day is enjoyable now. I feel something new each time, and the energy I receive from the audience gives me strength. The nerves I feel before going on stage have even become a source of both energy and motivation.”
Soobin was drawn to the role because of its resonance with her own life. “The script was so engaging,” she explained. “It delivers a heavy message in a witty way. And ‘Love’ reminded me a lot of myself in my teens and twenties — anxious, timid, and uncertain. That’s why the character felt so compelling to me.”
Balancing her dual careers as an idol and actress, Soobin emphasized that both paths hold unique appeal. “Idol activities are rewarding because I can directly connect with fans,” she said. “In musicals, I can feel the audience’s emotions in a different way, and that’s equally attractive.”
When asked what advice she would give her younger self, Soobin’s positivity shone through: “Do everything you start with no regrets.”
