[OSENWORLD] CLOSE YOUR EYES member Kenshin will temporarily suspend all activities following a shingles diagnosis, his agency UNCORE confirmed on October 14.
In an official statement, UNCORE explained,
“Kenshin recently visited the hospital after feeling unwell and was diagnosed with shingles. For a fast recovery, he will be hospitalized for treatment and take sufficient rest before returning to group activities.”
The company added,
“This week’s scheduled appearances will proceed with six members, excluding Kenshin. We kindly ask for fans’ understanding and support as we prioritize his health.”
Fans are expressing concern and support across social media, sending messages wishing for Kenshin’s full and speedy recovery.
CLOSE YOUR EYES, a seven-member rookie group that debuted in April 2024, released their second mini album Snowy Summer in July and has been actively promoting ever since. Despite the temporary change in lineup, the group plans to continue their scheduled activities while awaiting Kenshin’s return.
韓国の7人組ボーイズグループ CLOSE YOUR EYES（クローズ・ユア・アイズ） のメンバー ケンシン（Kenshin） が、帯状疱疹（たいじょうほうしん） の診断で活動休止を発表したことが、所属事務所 UNCORE（アンコア） により10月14日に明らかになった。
事務所は公式コメントを通じて次のように説明している。
「ケンシンは最近、体調不良を訴え病院を受診したところ、帯状疱疹との診断を受けました。早期回復のため入院治療を行い、十分な休息と安静を取ったうえで活動に復帰する予定です。」
また、事務所は続けて、
「今週予定されているスケジュールはケンシンを除く6人体制で実施される予定です。アーティストの健康を最優先に考えておりますので、ファンの皆さまのご理解と温かい応援をお願いいたします。」
と付け加えた。
SNS上ではファンから「早く良くなって」「無理せず休んで」など、ケンシンの一日も早い回復を願うメッセージが多数寄せられている。
CLOSE YOUR EYES は2024年4月にデビューした7人組の新人グループで、7月に2枚目のミニアルバム『Snowy Summer』をリリースして以来、精力的に活動を続けている。ケンシンの一時的な不在中でも、グループは6人でスケジュールを継続し、彼の復帰を待つ予定だ。
