[OSENWORLD] SBS’s latest Friday–Saturday drama Would You Marry Me? has become an overnight global success, debuting at No. 2 worldwide on Disney+ just days after its premiere, according to streaming analytics site FlixPatrol.
The romantic comedy follows two strangers who agree to a 90-day fake marriage to win a luxury newlywed home as the grand prize. Led by Choi Woo-shik (Our Beloved Summer) and Jung So-min (Alchemy of Souls), the series quickly drew attention with its star-studded pairing and undeniable chemistry.
Since its premiere on October 10, Would You Marry Me? has taken off with impressive momentum, charming audiences in Korea and abroad. The first episode scored nationwide ratings of 7.0% (6.1% in the Seoul metropolitan area), topping all non-daily programs of the day. By its second episode, the drama had already broken its own record, rising to 9.7% nationwide and 7.0% in Seoul — a strong start in Korea’s competitive weekend drama lineup.

Beyond domestic success, the series has topped Disney+ charts in Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, and entered the Top 10 in 18 countries, including Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, and Bolivia, signaling its fast-growing international fandom.
