[OSENWORLD] The American music industry is falling hard for CORTIS.
On October 15, the rising K-pop group will perform at the iHeartRadio Theater in Los Angeles for iHeartRadio LIVE with CORTIS. The venue has hosted some of the biggest names in global pop, and this marks the group’s first in-person U.S. performance, drawing intense anticipation from fans and industry insiders alike.
That same day, CORTIS will appear on Apple Music Radio’s “The Zane Lowe Show,” joining the influential host for an in-depth conversation about their rise and creative vision. The show has previously featured top global artists including Taylor Swift and Tyler, The Creator, underscoring CORTIS’s growing status on the international stage.
Their U.S. spotlight comes as no surprise. In recent weeks, American media outlets have taken notice of CORTIS’s meteoric rise. The group attended the Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final in Los Angeles on October 11, where they interacted with world-class dancers including Wackxxi, Kyoka, The Crown, and Majid. They also made history as the first K-pop artists to partner with Red Bull, sparking major media attention.
On October 12, CORTIS hosted a special “GO!” dance workshop in Los Angeles, where the members personally taught choreography to a limited group of fans selected by lottery. The event drew a massive fan turnout, with participants singing along and cheering throughout the hour-long session. “It was truly an honor to share this time together,” the members said after the event.
CORTIS’s debut album COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES entered the Billboard 200 at No. 15 on the Sept. 27 chart — the highest debut for a Korean boy group in the past four years. The album has also surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify as of October 12, with the United States ranking as the top streaming country.
With U.S. audiences and media rallying behind them, CORTIS are quickly establishing themselves as K-pop’s next global powerhouse — blending performance, artistry, and cross-cultural appeal in ways that transcend borders.
