[OSENWORLD] CORTIS continue to cement their reputation as the “Young Creator Crew.”
The five-member K-pop group — Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, and Geonho — appeared on The Zane Lowe Show, Apple Music’s flagship radio program, recorded at Apple Music’s Los Angeles studio in Culver City on October 15 (local time). The show, hosted by acclaimed DJ and producer Zane Lowe, has previously featured global icons such as Taylor Swift and Tyler, The Creator.
Introducing them as “a team whose natural chemistry shines through their art,” Lowe highlighted CORTIS’s ability to co-create their own music, choreography, and visuals. The members shared, “We enjoy expressing ourselves through every medium — from music to video to photography. For us, the process itself is what excites us the most.”
They also talked about their dynamic opening track “GO!”, which has been steadily climbing both domestic and international charts. “We actually made ‘GO!’ here in Los Angeles during a songwriting camp,” they recalled. “We were running around the studio with restless energy — that chaos became the heartbeat of the song.”
CORTIS described their debut album COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES as “a diary of who we really are.” They added, “It’s the most authentic version of us — raw, honest, and bold.”
The episode also featured a surprise video call from American singer-songwriter Teezo Touchdown, who collaborated on the English version of the album’s title track “What You Want.” Teezo praised the group, saying, “CORTIS’s drive and discipline are contagious. Ever since meeting them, I’ve found myself working ten times harder. When natural talent meets relentless effort, the result is magic.”
CORTIS’s debut album COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES recently surpassed 100 million cumulative streams on Spotify (as of October 12), marking the fastest 100M milestone for a rookie act this year.
