[OSENWORLD] ‘Rookie of the Year’ CORTIS made a triumphant U.S. debut, captivating American fans with explosive energy and creative flair.
On October 15 (local time), the group took the stage at the iHeartRadio Theater in Los Angeles for iHeartRadio LIVE with CORTIS, joining the ranks of global pop stars who have graced the same stage. The announcement of their appearance drew more than ten times the usual number of audience questions in advance, underscoring the group’s surging popularity among local listeners.
CORTIS delivered an energetic set that showcased flawless live vocals and dynamic choreography, transforming the theater into a festival-like atmosphere as fans sang along to every track. Their setlist included the debut album title track What You Want alongside GO!, FaSHioN, and JoyRide. They later returned for an encore, performing FaSHioN and GO! as the audience danced to the beat.

Host JoJo Wright praised the team’s artistry during the show, noting,
“They wrote and produced over 300 songs across two years while searching for their own sound — it’s an incredible creative journey.”

In the interview segment, CORTIS opened up about their creative process:
“We not only write lyrics but also produce beats, record, shoot photos, and film videos ourselves,” they said. “We’re working every day on our next album. Just like our name — COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES — we’ll keep experimenting with fresh sounds and breaking conventions.”
Even after wrapping up promotions for their debut album, CORTIS continue to gain strong traction in the global music scene. Next, the group will head to New York City to perform at the KOOM Festival on October 18 — an event celebrating Korean startups and K-culture on a global stage.
