[OSENWORLD] HATS2HARTS step into a new era — sharper, stronger, and more in sync than ever before.
The eight-member girl group held a media showcase on October 20 at Seoul’s Blue Square SOL Travel Hall to celebrate the release of their first mini album FOCUS.
The project marks a milestone for HATS2HARTS, who debuted with The Chase earlier this year and followed up with the summer single STYLE. Now, FOCUS expands their sound with six tracks, including the title song of the same name — a house-driven number powered by a vintage piano riff and an addictive hook that highlights the group’s sleek vocals and confident edge.

“When we first heard FOCUS, it felt like being under a spell,” the members said. “We worked hard to show a new side of ourselves — cool, chic, and full of confidence.”
The Power of Teamwork
Although HATS2HARTS are a large group, their onstage precision has already drawn attention. YE-ON shared, “People often praise our synchronization, and a lot of that comes from JUUN, who leads our team balance.”
JUUN added, “Kangta from SM Entertainment once told us that a great stage is built on promises among members. That stayed with us, and we’ve made it our rule.”
IAN agreed: “We’re all serious about performing. We constantly give each other feedback and listen closely. I think that’s why people feel our teamwork through the choreography.”
Endless Practice Pays Off
Behind their flawless moves lies an intense practice routine.
JIWOO revealed, “Our choreographer NAIN, who also worked on K-Pop Demon Hunters’ OST Golden, pushed us hard. We train four to five hours every day — it’s the kind of practice that burns calories on its own.”
The group laughed, saying, “Dancing to FOCUS automatically makes you lose weight.”
Inside the Tracks
STELLA described the track Apple Pie as “sweet and charming, perfect for a girls’ night.”
IAN explained Flutter as “a romantic confession song we recorded when half of us had colds — but somehow the harmony turned out warm and emotional.”
YE-ON added that Blue Moon is “a comforting song that connects hearts through eye contact — it aligns perfectly with our team name and message.”
“Each Beat, Each Step — It’s Our Promise”
With choreographer NAIN’s direction, the members promise an even sleeker and more dynamic performance.
“We’re confident audiences will see a more refined side of HATS2HARTS through FOCUS. Every step we take on stage is a promise — to each other and to our fans,” they said.
The Next Chapter
Eight months after their debut, the members say they’ve learned to truly enjoy performing.
“At first, we were too focused on the cameras,” STELLA admitted. “Now we know how to connect with the audience.”
JIWOO added, “Our strength is that the more you watch, the more you love us. Each member has distinct charm that shines in sync.”
When asked about their goals, the group didn’t hesitate: “We won first place on a music show with The Chase, and we want to do it again with FOCUS. Maybe even top the charts this time — we’ve worked so hard that we hope people can see how genuine we are.”
Their first mini album FOCUS is now available on all streaming platforms.
