[OSENWORLD] Rising K-pop group NEWBEAT is turning up the volume on its global ambitions. The group has revealed that their upcoming first mini album LOUDER THAN EVER will feature songs written entirely in English, signaling a bold step toward connecting directly with international listeners.
On October 22 and 23, NEWBEAT released a series of teaser photos and videos for member Jo Yun-ho on their official social media channels. The content forms part of the album’s second round of concept releases, drawing strong attention from global fans.
In the “Connecting Signal” teaser video, Jo Yun-ho captures attention as he hands over a blue book with a warm smile — a gesture that hints at the storytelling theme woven into LOUDER THAN EVER. Fans have been quick to speculate about the symbolic meaning of the book within the album’s narrative.
Jo’s contrasting sides shine through in the two concept photo versions. In the White (Kitten by Sunlight) version, he exudes a soft, dreamy vibe with a white shirt, denim pants, and silver-blonde hair that complements his pale blue eyes. In contrast, the Black (Demon by Midnight) version presents a darker, more intense side — dressed in a black turtleneck, illuminated by sharp red laser beams, and staring directly into the camera with piercing charisma.
The upcoming mini album LOUDER THAN EVER marks a significant milestone for NEWBEAT, emphasizing both creative and international ambition. With every track performed in English, the record aims to showcase the group’s distinctive sound and universal emotional resonance.
According to their label Beat Interactive, the project reflects NEWBEAT’s desire “to communicate more intuitively with listeners around the world through music that transcends language.”
LOUDER THAN EVER will be released on November 6 at 12 p.m. KST across major global streaming platforms.
